MODEL TP-DCDC-2448-HP

The TP-DCDC-2448-HP from Tycon Power provides an affordable and reliable DC to DC Converter solution for those needing 56VDC Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a 24V battery system. It features an integrated PoE injector, with both Passive PoE and 802.3at models available. Additionally, the unit includes two inputs, allowing connection of primary and backup power sources for uninterrupted operation.

The injector accepts data-in through a shielded RJ45 jack and supplies both data-out and PoE power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. It delivers power through the unused Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-). The unit is protected against surge, short circuit, and overload, ensuring secure performance. With a power output of up to 35W, the unit offers isolation between input and output, allowing it to accept negative voltage input and provide positive voltage output, ideal for negative voltage-based systems.

If the remote device does not support PoE, the POE-SPLT-S splitter is available to separate data and DC voltage. For systems requiring reverse voltage, the POE-XOVER-S cable can be used to accommodate the necessary configuration.
